ABOUTForested is on a mission to conserve the world's most biodiverse ecosystems around the Global South. We serve as regenerative ingredient sourcing partners to brands committed to a climate-neutral, nature-positive, and socially-just world. Based on-the-ground and led by a multi-disciplinary team with decades of agroforestry field-work experience, we are well equipped to work with aggregates of smallholder farmers to create, strengthen, and quality-control natural ingredient supply chains. In addition to brand partners like Lush, we have collaborated with research, academic, and NGO partners like CGIAR, GIZ, USAID, Packard Foundation, TechnoServe, and the World Economic Forum.
Forested works with aggregates of smallholder farmers, all of whom employ some principles of regenerative and/or conservation agriculture. Valuing indigenous practices and being mindful of local context, Forested facilitates investment in regenerative agriculture and conservation agriculture practices through project-based work. Forested’s monitoring and verification model put farming communities at the center. Our community partners own and are compensated for the data they collect on carbon, nature and community impact. This data is then verified by third parties.
For customers interested in our Insetting Program, Forested offers third party verified Scope 3 emissions reductions credits to value chain actors.
